Our program is focused on breeding P.R.E. Andalusians, APSL Lusitanos and superior crosses with warmbloods for the Iberian Sporthorse.
We are committed to producing top quality athletes possessing excellent temperaments for trainability.
Our repro vet is the best in the region. He has a successful track record with frozen semen, embryo transfer and fresh cooled A.I.
We produce a handful of quality foals each year who receive daily handling and plenty of
early educational training to prepare
them for their journey as a
performance athlete and
partner.
Foal Watch
Our broodmares enjoy spacious foaling stalls in our custom designed new maternity barn and plenty of turn out in shady lush pastures.
Foal watch is an intense time at Wright's Gate. A strictly eyes-on schedule begins in advance of the foaling date. We love our remote camera system.

Lider Seven x Perola II HI
We are overjoyed to WELCOME to the world the long awaited and long overdue new addition to our family - Usher WG.
This BIG Lusitano colt was born February 21st around 11:40pm. This baby is a beautiful buckskin like his Daddy. Perola was 2.5 weeks late and has kept us up many nights watching the cameras. It takes a village and we are all happily exhausted!!!

Usher WG
PEROLA II HI x LIDER SEVEN
Wrights Gate is excited about our first foal of 2024 and Perola was very late, keeping us up many nights in waiting. Usher finally arrived in full glory, a big, beautiful buckskin colt of incredible quality.
Perola II HI is our gorgeous chestnut APSL mare, bred by Haras Iannoni in Brazil. She arrived in May 2023 from Portugal. Thank you to Rodrigo Guedes da Cunha of Dressage Top for entrusting us with this fantastic mare.
Perola has done us all proud and this coupling with the fabulous dressage star, Lider Seven, has proven to be a success. Lider is owned by Jorge Gabriel, Casa Lusitana.

QUEEN DT x JASMIM PLUS
Wrights Gate is excited to announce the arrival of a very special filly born in April, 2024. Like Perola, Queen took her time in bringing this beauty into the world.
Queen DT has produced her very first baby and she has been an incredible mother. This amazing filly is sired by the Portuguese Champion Grand Prix dressage performance stallion, JASMIM PLUS. Queen is sired by RUBI AR, out of the outstanding black APSL mare Jaqueta de Arcas (74.5%). We are thrilled with Queens first foal.
